Kendra Scott Gives Back

🎀We are excited to share that Kendra Scott (SouthPark Mall, Charlotte, NC is once again partnering with us on Thursday, December 5th. It’s time to get some early holiday shopping done for a good cause.
🎀20% of your sales will be donated to The Pink Bow Campaign. Please join us for an evening of shopping, champagne & sweets. This location has a Color Bar (you can choose your own stones) and an engraving machine.
🎀If you cannot make it in person, don’t you worry! We have an online code for you to support The Pink Bow Campaign and still shop. The code is valid for both Thursday and Friday (12/6).

At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to pick up your pink bows for your neighborhood, business, or community.

Three Years Strong!
our impact
A highlight of what we have accomplished in less than 3 years:
- Donated over $60,000 to Go Jen Go supporting their mission to help ease the emotional and financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.
- Donated over $5,000 to MBC (metastatic breast cancer) Thrivers and Travelers to help provide bucket list trips for breast cancer patients.
- Created a special bow for MBC Thrivers.
- Donated over $1,000 to an underserved local community with pink bows and breast health information and resources.
- Partnered with local businesses to support breast cancer patients with pink bows and messages of hope.
- Reached over 60 neighborhoods in and around the Charlotte area (Charlotte, Fort Mill, Huntersville, Indian Land, Indian Trail, Marvin, Matthews, Waxhaw, Weddington).
We have 4 main areas of focus for 2024 – Support Go Jen Go, Support MBC Thrivers, our Adopt A Neighborhood program, and our Donate A Bow program. It is important to support our local community and have a direct impact on those involved. We hope to bring more awareness in the fight against breast cancer. I have attached our sponsorship package and additional information on our programs for your review and look forward to hearing back from you soon.
The Pink Bow Campaign is 100% dependent upon our amazing volunteers and supporters. We are dedicated to raising awareness and making a difference in our community and those affected by breast cancer. We need you now more than ever. Volunteers provide countless hours contributing their skills to further the Pink Bow Campaign. Every minute you spend helping gives another minute of hope to those affected by breast cancer while every pink bow is a visual reminder for women and men to get their mammogram.

My name is Petra (Pay-tra😉). I first really heard of the Pink Bow Campaign when my friend Crissie took over the “pink bows” in our neighborhood. I’ve been helping her for over 5 years now and it is such a powerful & wonderful fundraiser and I love every bit of it. We make a big deal of it in our neighborhood. We decorate our golf carts and dress up when it’s time to deliver to the mailboxes. I have been to a few other Pink Bow Campaign events with her over the last year and a half and I just love the mission.
I was asked recently if I would want to join the board of advisors. Are you kidding me? Yes please!! My ‘why’… I have family, friends & co-workers who have been impacted by this terrible cancer. I physically cannot cure breast cancer, but… I can help educate others and fundraise to hopefully get us there one day soon. Just as important, I have a daughter who is at a very impressionable age. She learns by seeing. She sees me out volunteering and advocating. Not only do I hope there is a cure for her generation, I hope she is empowered to have the same dedication to making a difference.

Run Jen Run
The 12th Annual Run Jen Run 5K and Festival will take place at the beautiful Symphony Park in SouthPark. All proceeds benefit the Go Jen Go Foundation, one of our main beneficiaries. They provide hope and critical support to families in the greater Charlotte area who are facing the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.
The Pink Bow Campaign will be there donating pink bows and beads to breast cancer fighters, survivors, and thrivers. We hope to see you there!

Mark your calendars as we have changed our Celebration event from Thursday, November 16, 2023 to Thursday, January 25, 2024. The event will still take place at Aloft Hotel Ballantyne from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. We hope to continue collecting donations and making an impact through the end of the year. So there will be plenty of time to donate!

It’s time to get your bows!
The Pink Bow Campaign, Inc. is a local 501c3 non-profit organization based in Charlotte, NC. The campaign offers pink bows for individuals, businesses, neighborhoods, communities, teams, schools, and places of worship to “pink-out” their surroundings and show support for those fighting breast cancer throughout the year. The pink bows are a symbol of hope and awareness and a visible reminder to schedule yearly mammograms and reinforce the message that early detection saves lives.

NEIGHBORHOOD OPPORTUNITIES
- Manage a pink bow campaign in your neighborhood.
- Participate in community festivals and / or events and offer pink bows.
- Support a neighbor/friend going through breast cancer and/or a survivor/thriver.
- For houses without mailboxes, place bows on trees, front doors, railings, cars, etc.
- Middle school and high school – Pink Out Games.
- Donate A Bow – Donate pink bows to breast cancer patients, survivors, and thrivers.
- Adopt A Neighborhood – Sponsor a community in an underserved area to raise awareness and offer breast health information.
MANAGING A PINK BOW CAMPAIGN
- Communicate with your HOA to confirm community support. Post specific information about the campaign on community websites, Facebook groups, emails, and newsletters.
- Coordinate with the PBC to identify your quantity of pink bows. The pink bows are distributed on a consignment basis. Whatever you don’t sell you simply return. If you need more bows, they will be provided.
- Distribute flyers to all mailboxes with information on how to purchase a pink bow, your contact information, and your personal why/story. This is a great opportunity for any student in need of service hours.
- Orders are accepted online through our website, cash, or check. All online orders will be emailed directly to the neighborhood campaign leaders as they come in. Please encourage everyone to properly select their neighborhood or business in order to receive their bow in a timely manner.
- Deliver pink bows to mailboxes / residences. Another great opportunity for any student in need of service hours.
- At the conclusion of your campaign, reconcile any remaining dollars and pink bows to the PBC.
- At the end of every bow season, we have a celebration and wrap up event in November to present a donation to our main beneficiary, Go Jen Go.
