Mother’s Day is a celebration dedicated to appreciating all mothers and maternal figures wherever they are in the globe. This day is perfect for showing gratitude and expressing thanks for the support and sacrifices mothers give their children.
Mother’s Day is very special to me – that’s because every year around Mother’s Day my mom, my sister, and I travel for a girl’s weekend to the beach. No boys allowed! We laugh, eat, and enjoy the ocean. We celebrate my mom!
If it hadn’t been for a breast self-exam, we might not have this time together. My mom is a 25-year breast cancer survivor. She is my best friend, my cheerleader, my champion, and my biggest supporter. She is the most genuine and giving person on the planet and would without hesitation give you the shirt off her back.
I know that early detection saves lives. At the age of 57, my mom found a lump during a self-exam. She was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. During menopause she took hormone replacement therapy, and we believe it resulted in hormonal breast cancer. After a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation, she conquered breast cancer and inspired me to try to make a difference in our local community. That’s why I founded The Pink Bow Campaign, a non-profit organization raising funds and awareness for breast cancer. The pink bows are a symbol of hope and strength, a visual reminder to schedule your annual screening mammograms, and reinforce the message that early detection saves lives. The campaign offers pink bows for individuals, businesses, neighborhoods, teams, and schools to show support for those fighting breast cancer throughout the year.
We are thrilled to announce we are partnering with the Charlotte Knights for a night of baseball! Please join us on Thursday, June 5th, at 7:04 PM at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte!
🎀 Give Back to The Pink Bow Campaign: $10 from each ticket sold will be donated back to The Pink Bow Campaign! We hope to see all of you at Truist Field for this special night! Grab your tickets today and let’s make it an evening of fun and celebration.

We Celebrate Our Volunteers!
Volunteer Appreciation Week begins today, and we are so excited to celebrate all that The Pink Bow Campaign volunteers do to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer! Our volunteers make an everlasting impact in our community by dedicating their time to advancing The Pink Bow Campaign’s mission, goals, and selflessly sharing their time and talent with our organization.
The pink bow is a symbol of hope and strength and a visual reminder for women to get their annual mammograms while enforcing the message that early detection saves lives. We want to personally thank each of you for your dedication and the difference you make. Your volunteer spirit is the heart of The Pink Bow Campaign, and we are deeply appreciative of everything you do.

We are excited to announce that through donations like yours and the participation of many local neighborhoods and community campaigns, we were able to:

Gift an astounding $35,000 to the Go Jen Go Foundation. They provide hope and critical support to families in the greater Charlotte area who are facing the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis. Funding helps cover monthly household bills such as rent, utilities, transportation, and groceries/necessities while patients are undergoing cancer treatment.

Gift $10,000 to the MBC Travelers. As part of our 2024 initiative to recognize metastatic breast cancer patients (MBC), we created an MBC Thriver pink bow. MBC Travelers empowers stage four breast cancer patients for bucket list travel. Our support gives patients the opportunity to join these trips and activities.
Most of all, THANK YOU! We hope that you will continue your support of The Pink Bow Campaign, Inc. in 2025. Together – We can make an impact – One Pink Bow at a Time!
